Plan Ahead!

This month you may order many free resources for your Public Affairs exhibits.  Look under “Campaign Resources” on the North American Safe Boating Campaign website, www.safeboatingcampaign.com, and order your informational materials.  Plan ahead for National Safe Boating Week.

Throughout the nation, big plans are being made by our PA Officers to promote safe boating and life jacket wear.

Auxiliarists in 1NR have invited a group of Cub Scouts to attend a NSBW kickoff at Station South Portland, Maine.  In 8CR, Texas PAOs are making plans to get NSBW Proclamations signed by their civic leaders.  In Northern California, 11NR Auxiliarists are planning a safe boating event at Discovery Park in Sacramento.  And in Southern California, Flotilla 15-08 members are publicizing their “Fly-Float and Show” event to be held at Fullerton Municipal Airport.  Plans include aircraft and boat displays, vessel examinations and life jacket giveaways.  Whatever your plans are for the big event, be sure to post it on the Campaign website and share those great ideas with your fellow Auxiliarists.
